I bought mine 5 years ago from Lowes. I take care of it and it is loud. I was happy until it decided not to spin or agitate. I read they can last for 11 plus years. After 5 years I did not expect to have major issues.

I changed my shift seal on my 95 Del Sol but it's still leaking! Actually my friend did it. He worked in an auto body shop for 15 years and has been working on cars ever since. It's a simple job. Any thoughts on why it's still leaking and what to do? Thanks!

What is the size of the seal?

Take the air box out and you can access the fill opening better. Under fill then add little by little.

Thanks for the video! Helped a lot!! Here a Honda dealer asked R$160,00 for that seal and 15 days to deliver. The 12x22x7 dimensions are the exact same as the crankshaft seal of a Stihl brush cutter, costing R$18,00 and in stock. It looks more robust and also seems to be made with FKM/Viton. Works flawlessly and I can still say that I always use genuine parts, even if it's genuine from another brand...

Thanks Your mileage ? Did you ever actually pull the egr valve and clean out the carbon and refresh the gaskets ? Has anyone had success with the cheap aftermarket egr on amazon?

I bought the same strut. About to install it. Another vid says the nuts are 8mm and 10mm (2nd Gen CRV) but they look larger. Hoping to get this installed and no more butt whacking! :) Thx

Why do appliances get crappier and crappier?

I have this and it's not great. i don't care about the sound, as the old washers were also kind of loud.The problem is it moves all around the floor no matter how level it is. This is because the new top load washers have a basket that moves..so it during the spin cycle, it will bang against the body of the washer and start to move! Then, after having for just about a few years, I now started hearing loud clanking sounds at the start. Not every time I use, but it''s a bad sign. They have DESTROYED washers. One good thing about this machine is that the clothes come out almost dry...LOL!

The hole is threaded just use a bolt that fits and it pulls right out

It sounds so loud because you ARE IN an enclosed room.

My transmission was serviced by a certified Honda mechanic and they still overfilled it. I just hope its the right fluid as its been running on it for about 6 years.

My machine load but washing is the same maching

I have the same washer had it 1 yr and 3 months the machine always made crazy noise from new noe it won't spin went o RUclips to diagnose it said replace lid lock switch so I did now the washing machine makes a clicking noise at the lid and won't operate this washer and matching dryer are junk I will never buy anything from GE

Why would crunch the hell out of that gasket? Sheer common sense would tell you that it needs to be only snug. Are trying to create a diamond gasket with all that pressure?

I loathe this machine. Not only the sounds, but even when I wash on the "casuals" cycle, it never spins out all of the water, I then have to put it on the Drain and Spin cycle. I had an old Kenmore before this one which was about 28 years old. Why did I think I needed a new one? ???? It still worked fine. Regrets.

Jon, don’t forget to check for a 5 volt reference at the connector plug. And yes, this is a very common failure on the late ‘90’s Toyota’s. You can also go get these EGR VSV valves off similar year Camry’s, RAV4 with the 2.2l & 2.0l. Toyota parts are standardized. So they’re interchangeable between models. (Salvage Yard knowledge!).

Dont buy this junk. Might last a dozen or so uses, but then stops making air pressure because the little rubber seal on the PLASTIC piston breaks down. And of course they do NOT offer reparts so you can fix it. JUNK.

The needle nose are pretty tough.

I wish we could of seen ours working before we bought it. Its too noisy! Too much electronics. Will need a mechanic to fix.

That’s exactly what I have. Haven’t had anything but trouble with it. You can not do a small load as it will start knocking and not wring them out good.

My hotpoint has the same dials but the spin cycle is 10 minutes with the lid locked...can't stand it
